Butterfly Staxx 2 – NetEnt

Butterfly Staxx 2 takes you back to the enchanted world of flowers and butterflies, this time you can open up to 3 areas with the drum at the same time. Usually with NetEnt, the visual effects and soundtrack are very enjoyable and you will feel like in a spa when you play this slot game.

The slot is played on 5 reels, 4 rows and 40 paylines, and in the re-spin function you can unlock the second and third zones of the reel if you aim enough butterflies. You can place bets up to a whopping € 1,250 per spin, which is probably an attempt to compensate for the low potential. The maximum payout is your 240x bet, which will probably be too low for many players who prefer big casino winnings .

What characters are in Butterfly Staxx 2 ?

The symbol with the highest value of the Butterfly Staxx 2 slot is, not surprisingly, a butterfly . The other symbols are flowers and the other symbols are on ordinary cards. You need between 3 and 5 matching symbols on a payline to win. Here’s what a table looks like:

• Butterfly – pays 2x for 5 on a payline
• Red Flower – Pays 1.6x for 5 on a payline
• Purple Flower – Pays 1.6x for 5 on a payline
• Blue Flower – Pays 1.6x for 5 on a payline
• Cardboard Suit Symbols – Pays 0.8x for 5 on a payline

What are the bonus features?

When the butterfly symbol lands entirely on the reels, you will activate the re-rotate function. All butterfly symbols will move to the leftmost position in the same row. The function will continue as long as you save the butterfly landing symbols.

This is how it worked in the original version, but there is a big difference here. If you fill the 2 leftmost butterfly reels, you will unlock a second set of reels, and if you fill the 3 leftmost butterfly reels, you will even unlock a third set of reels. This will double and triple your chances of winning and make the feature more interesting.

Free spins in Butterfly Staxx 2

You will activate the free spins feature of Butterfly Staxx 2 when you land 3 skaters on reels 1, 3 and 5 on the same spin. You will then be able to choose between two different bonus features as follows:

• Butterfly Spins: you will play with all 3 active reels and the cocoon symbols will land, which can be either dormant or active. The active cocoons will become butterfly symbols and they will move to the leftmost position. Everything is played just like the re-rotate function.
• Butterfly Frenzy: Here you can choose from 10 butterflies and each of them will give you a cash win or upgrade to even higher cash winnings.
